European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Solar energy company Activ8 Solar Energies is to create 200 new jobs in County Monaghan over the next two years. The company has just opened a new headquarters in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. The new roles will be in areas such as design, technical, engineering, plumbing and roofing, along with administration and back-office positions.
The company is the exclusive solar partner of SSE Airtricity and it is the largest supplier of solar PV units in Ireland.
The interest in solar energy in Ireland has been growing recently, in order to meet the 2030 European climate target for the transition to a carbon-neutral economy.
