Description

Jobon, a Polish furniture manufacturer, has announced plans to cut 300 jobs in Zwierzyniec by the end of 2022. 150 employees will be dismissed by the end of July and 150 more will be dismissed between September and December this year. The company was forced to reduce their workforce because the foreign demand for its products has decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Currently, the factory is not operating and its workers are on leave.

Jobon manufactures upholstered furniture. It was founded in the 1990s and currently employs 1700 people.
