Description
The Ministry of Interior Affairs announced the creation of 1,200 new jobs under the Romanian gendarmerie. The new jobs are for officer and non-commissioned officer positions up for direct recruitment.
The Government has announced hiring in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since the end of May. These posts are necessary to resize structures within the Ministry of Internal Affairs - the General Inspectorate for Immigration, the Romanian Police, the Border Police, the General Directorate of Passports and the Romanian Gendarmerie.
The Government specified that the new posts do not imply additional budgetary efforts and that the measure adopted by the Government aims at reorganizing and streamlining the Ministry's organisation chart.
