Nike, an American athletic clothing multinational company, has announced that it will hire more than 100 people in Gdansk. The company has opened a new facility called ‘Nike Technology Innovation Center’. The employees will be implementing projects related to global architecture and platforms, data and analytics, and technological innovations. In the future, the centre will expand its operations to artificial intelligence (AI) and mobile applications.
Nike was founded in 1964 in Washington County as Blue Ribbon Sports. In 2021, Nike had over 1,000 stores and business centres worldwide and employed approximately 73,300 people globally.
