Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Swedish industrial manufacturer AQ Group plans to create about 100 jobs until the end of 2023 in its premises in Pernik, Bulgaria. The new factory will produce sheet metal products and be responsible for the electrical integration of large-scale energy storage systems (ESS).
AQ Group intends to invest a further 2 million Euro in repairs and equipment at its facility in Pepnik by 2024 and the number of employees will rise over the next few years depending on the growth rate of the business.
The company has been operating in Bulgaria since 1996 and with a total of 1,500 employees, AQ Group owns three local subsidiaries operating five outlets in Sofia, Radomir, Godech, Kyustendil and Veliko Tarnovo.
