European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Gorillas, German retail service that delivers paid groceries in major cities across the country has announced it will close its Belgian division. In total around 199 people are facing dismissal. The international company management has stated that the company seeks to specialise in its main markets in Germany, France, The Netherlands and the UK and that the number of orders must be large enough to be profitable and this requires a large market.
