Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The logistics group ID Logistics France has announced the recruitment of 1,000 employees in 2022 to cope with the increase in its activity in France. ID Logistics has already recruited 947 employees in 2021. The company is recruiting order pickers, operating agents, truck drivers, computer specialists and methods engineers.
ID Logistic is growing thanks to the development of e-commerce and an increasing demand for fast deliveries. Its turnover increased by 7.6% in France in 2021. The group is currently present in 17 countries and employs 25,000 people worldwide. It employs 4,336 people in France.
A previous business expansion was recorded in the ERM database in 2015, with 250 jobs created (ID Logistics France-2015-FR).
