Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Ministry of European Investment and Projects announced the creation of 530 new jobs for the management of the European structural funds. The new positions will help the government to continue the process of strengthening the capacity to manage European funds through the institutional reorganization of the structures of the Ministry of European Investment and Projects.
The new organisational structure aims at streamlining activity and redistributing tasks, in line with the objective of strengthening the institutional capacity of central public administration structures, as well as with the principles underlying the exercise of the civil service, namely the principle of hierarchical subordination, performance, efficiency and effectiveness, impartiality, objectivity and accountability.
In addition, the expansion will help the Ministry improve absorption rates of European funds and contribute to the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
Currently, the Ministry has 1,407 employees.
