Description

The Germany-based retail company ALDI announced to open new facilities, including 60 stores and another distribution centre in Poland. This will allow to create over 800 new jobs in 2022. The expansion will cost approximately PLN 30 million. The biggest input to new jobs comes from the opening of a warehouse with 200 job vacancies. The rest of the workers will be hired in the retail stores.

ALDI operates in Poland since 2008 and runs over 140 stores nationwide. It is one of the four leading chains of discount stores in the Polish market.

Previous business expansions for Poland were announced in October 2021, with 250 jobs created (Aldi-2021-PL), and in February 2021, with 600 jobs created (Aldi-2021-PL).
