Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Romanian Ministry of Finance announced the creation of 209 new jobs for the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) and its subordinated structures. This is the first time ANAF will seek to recruit new employees since 2016. The number of employees in ANAF has been declining for several years, during which time ANAF has partially covered existing vacancies by resorting to transfers from other institutions.
Employees are being sought for various ANAF departments, including the General Legal Directorate, the Information Management Unit and the General Risk Management Directorate.
ANAF currently has, after the separation of the Romanian Customs Authority (AVR), about 20,000 employees, out of 22,244 posts foreseen in the establishment plan.
