European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
With the resumption of air traffic, the Aéroports de Paris (ADP) group, which manages the two airports in the Paris region, Roissy-Charles-De-Gaulle and Orly, has launched a recruitment plan for 600 people, including 400 for Roissy. ADP is looking for engineers and maintenance technicians. According to the management, these recruitments are difficult. The group pointed out that total air traffic had reached 72.4% of 2019 levels in March 2022. In total, all the companies operating at the two airport platforms are looking for 4,000 positions to accompany the recovery of air traffic after the COVID-19 pandemic, but they are having great difficulty in recruiting, particularly in security. The ADP CEO also underlined the lack of applications in the retail, duty-free, catering and bar sectors, where "several hundred jobs are currently unavailable".
The ADP group employs 6,338 employees in the Parisian airports (Aéroports de Paris) and 24,447 worldwide in its subsidiaries. In 2020, a voluntary redundancy plan affecting 600 employees was launched at ADP and it was recorded in the ERM Database (Aéroports de Paris-2020-FR).
