European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BILLA Bulgaria is a retail company (supermarkets and grocery stores), subsidiary of REWE Group, planning to expand and create 300 new jobs. BILLA Bulgaria plans to open 10 new outlets in small towns as well as to upgrade five existing stores. The company will open the new stores where it still not present: Troyan (North Bulgaria), Parvomay, Karlovo, and Smolyan (South Bulgaria). The new outlets will provide 300 new jobs. The whole investment will be 32 Mln. BGN (16.4 Mln. Euro).
Currently the company has 141 outlet stores in Bulgaria.
