Multinational e-commerce company Amazon is to launch a new production plant at the Panattoni Park Chomutov in October 2022. The new production hall with an area of almost 15,000 square meters will offer employment opportunities to 200 people. Production capacity will focus on printing T-shirts and accessories.According to the developer, the new site should meet measures to support biodiversity.Amazon currently operates in the Czech Republic in a distribution centre in Dobrovíz, near Prague. The second distribution centre is being built in Kojetín in the Přerov region. It is supposed to be completely robotic.
