American GXO Logistics has announced the creation of 3,000 jobs in France over the next two years, to support the growth of its e-commerce business. GXO Logistics is the result of a split with the shipping and logistics group XPO Logistics. The recruitment has already started and GXO is looking for logistics agents, forklift operators, handling agents, maintenance technicians and stock managers. It is also looking for team leaders, operations managers, process and flow engineers, project managers and methods engineers. According to the management, recruitment follows 'the expansion of activities and the renewal of contracts with major e-commerce retailers, in anticipation of the opening of new logistics platforms over the next two years in France'.
GXO is a contract logistics provider leader in the world and employs over 8,000 people in France in 80 sites.
