European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
France-based aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced its intention to hire 750 people in Spain by June 2022. The announcement, made by the French company in April 2022, also included the intention to hire 1500 people in France, 1500 in Germany, 750 in the UK and 1500 in the rest of the world. This employment increase concerns all the group's activities (commercial aircraft, defence and space, helicopters), in particular in order to support the increase in its production rate after the Covid-19 crisis.
