Description
American software firm HTEC opens four development centres in various locations within Hungary. The plan is to recruit a total of 610 software engineering professionals in a relatively short period of time: 250 in Budapest and 120 in each of the other three sites.
The investment cost was roughly €13 million, 2 of which was covered by a non-refundable grant by the government.
HTEC has already a strong presence in the Balkans, now it expands its operation to Hungary. The new Hungarian sites are expected to provide career opportunities for the top segment of the Hungarian pool of software engineers.
