Description
Optix AD is a Bulgarian company manufacturing optical instruments and apparatus headquartered in Panagyurishte, Bulgaria. The company is part of the Commercial and Service Machinery Manufacturing Industry. Optix AD develops and manufactures a wide range of special optics for the needs of the army, the police and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, Frontex. The company announces the opening of 100 new jobs in its new production and development centre in the Southeastern Industrial Zone "Trakia" – Plovdiv. The town has been chosen because of its favourable location and fast development. The new production centre in Plovdiv comprises departments for saturation of printed circuit boards and for production of electronic assemblies needed for the company’s products. It also has an automatic warehouse and a test laboratory for electrical measurements.
