European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aquaphor International, an Estonian company manufacturing water filtration system, is to create 200 new jobs in Narva, Estonia. Currently, the company has two plants in Estonia and several plants in the USA and Israel. A new plant is to be built in Narva, and the production from the USA and Israel will be relocated to this plant in April. After relocating production from Israel, in Estonia the production of professional filtration systems for factories and medical facilities will increase ten times. After relocating production from the USA, in Estonia the production of filtration systems for private households will increase four times.
Currently, Aquaphor International employs 650 people.
