Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
FACC, a manufacturer of advanced aircraft components, will hire over 100 employees in the next few months in Upper Austria. After a very negative turnover in 2020, FACC had to lay off more than 600 employees (FACC2020- AT) now the aviation market is again showing signs of an upward trend and FACC is also benefiting from this. It will hire over 100 new employees and the focus of the new jobs is in production. Personnel are also being sought in the areas of IT, digitization, innovation management and automation. The recruiting of the new employees has already started.
The company currently employs 2,700 employees from 41 countries at 13 international sites.
