Semco Maritime, is a project engeneering company dedicated to provide global energy in the oil and gas sector in Denmark and will hire 200 new employees. The company has won contracts in redeveloping the Thyra Gas Field as well as providing CO2 storage and transport solutions for the Greensand Consortium project. They therefore announced that they need to hire 200 additional staff and the first batch needs to be hired before the start of Q2 2022. The positions are in a wide range of areas, including welder-fitters, electricians, technicians, and foremen. In an effort to create closer contact between offshore and onshore staff, Semco Maritime recently opened a satellite office at Esbjerg airport. With this office, onshore support staff can welcome their offshore colleagues as soon as they arrive at the airport, assist them and answer any questions they may have.
