Description

Ebm-papst Slovenija, a producer of small electrical motors and fans for household appliances, announced new hirings of 50 workers in 2022 and has just recruited 84 in December. The expansion is a consequence of the relocation of production programmes in Germany and are then transferred to Slovenia, where labour costs are lower. In December 2021, the sheet metal punching programme for electric motors and fans was moved from Germany to Slovenia, hiring 84 new workers. This year, ebm-papst is relocating production of fans for heat pumps, professional kitchen hoods and commercial refrigerators to Slovenian branch hiring 50 additional workers.

The company currently employs 519 workers (including the workers relocated last year). Apart from some experts in quality, informatics, procurement, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, most new employments will involve production workers and mechatronics.
