European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Danish company Dovista engaged in the production of wooden doors and windows is to create 250 new jobs in Marijampole by June 2023. The company has announced to invest €5.5 million to improve existing production processes and purchase new equipment at its factory. The project is at a planning stage and is expected to be completed in 14-16 months. According to the management, the recruitment and training of new staff will start in 7-8 months, as soon as the first equipment will be delivered to the plant by the suppliers.
The company is part of Dovista group, which has 4,800 employees in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, and Poland. Currently, the manufacturing plant in Marijampole free economic zone employs 339 employees and it was founded in October 2018.
