European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Girteka Logistics, one of the biggest transport and logistics companies in Lithuania, is to create over 100 new jobs in Vilnius in 2022. The company is carrying out a large-scale business digitalisation project in partnership with SAP and other IT solutions providers. The plan is to hire over 100 business process, analysis, and IT specialists: in particular, they are looking for 30 data analysts who will work with financial data. Girteka Logistics also plans to double the number of professionals in the IT area by the end of 2022.
Girteka Logistics is one of Europe’s largest road transport companies and it delivers more than 460,000 full truck loads annually. The company serves various customers ranging from local producers to international companies through regional distribution centres. Currently, it employs 1,557 employees.
