The electric car company Polestar has announced the recruitment of 100 new people at its global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. New positions will be for software developers. The company’s ambition is to lead the digital development in the automotive industry and the digital units will be moved to new premises in Gothenburg.
Polestar was founded in 2017 and has expanded rapidly, aiming for an early listing in New York. The Swedish automaker Volvo Cars owns most of the shares. The company has many offices in Europe as well as regional offices in the United States and China. The headquarters in Gothenburg employs 500 people, including consultants.
