European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Rehau, German-capital polymer company, will create around 100 new jobs in Klaipeda in 2022. On 1 December 2021, the construction of the Rehau’s plant in the Klaipeda Free Economic Zone was officially completed. The company is already testing production processes and lines and will be fully operational in early 2022. According to the management, the number of employees could reach around 200 people in the next two years. The investments in the plant amounted to around €20 million. Currently the company employs 30 employees.
Rehau is a company known for polymer-based innovations and systems in construction, automotive and industry. The company employs approximately 20,000 employees at more than 170 locations worldwide.
