Description

The Ikea group, the Swedish international furniture chain, has announced the recruitment of 400 employees to prepare for the opening of its new shop in Nice (Alpes Maritimes) scheduled for spring 2022. Ikea is looking for full and part-time employees, including 70 employees in sales, 50 for logistics activities, 25 for customer relations and 25 for catering. Around 50 people have already been recruited, bringing the total recruitment requirement to 350. The new employees will benefit from a customised integration and training programme that will enable them to discover the products, learn the tools and the company's values.

About 11 recruitments announcements have been recorded in the ERM Database since 2004. The last recruitment occured in October 2021 with 140 hires at its shop in Lyon Grand Parilly (Rhône) and at the distribution centre in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (Isère).
