European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi has announced the creation of 100 new jobs for its digital hub in Barcelona. Specifically, the French company plans to recruit professionals specialized in the fields of data technology, SAP, software development, and machine learning. This centre currently has employees of 40 nationalities, 65% younger than 40. Sanofi established this centre in Barcelona in 2016 to accelerate the company's digital transformation, working in the fields of finance, digitalization, and supply chain. According to the company, Barcelona is now an incubator of digital talent.
