Description
Makita, a Japanese company specialized in the production and sales of electric power tools, gardening equipment, pneumatic tools and household equipment, announced its plans to hire 800 people by the end of Q2 2022. Following investment of €15.5 million, the company is about to double its production at its Branesti plant (Ilfov County) located near Bucharest.
The company has opted for an innovative strategy to attract candidates: it is currently building 350 homes for future employees in a modern residential complex. The main objective of this investment is to attract staff from other parts of the country. The company is also recruiting young people studying at master's level in Bucharest, as well as candidates from around the capital, for whom commuting could be a problem.
