Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
UK group FD Technologies has announced the creation of 500 new jobs in Ireland. The group provide tech for real-time intelligence, tech services and accounts-based marketing tools for businesses. The expansion is related to the establishment of a new technology hub in the south-east or south-west of the country, which is a response to an increasing demand for services from Irish banks and global institutions that have operations in Ireland. FD Technologies is recruiting experienced tech professionals and graduatesĀ in the new hub and in Dublin.
The company operates from 15 offices across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific, and employs more than 3,000 people worldwide. Currently, it employs 300 people in Ireland.
