Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The new Global Shared Services Centre (GSS) of Organon, a pharmaceutical company, will be installed in Lisbon, Portugal. The new centre will offer global services to support the operation of the pharmaceutical firm to over 50 nations around the world, including Human Resources, Procurement and Finance. In the middle of 2022, the GSS will be officially launched and will be fully operational by 2023, by when it will have created around 200 new jobs.
The recruitment process already began, in the fisrt phase (until February 2022) the company will recruit between 25-30 workers. The professionals to be recruited in this first phase correspond to technical profiles, oriented towards SAP system.
