Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The US manufacturer of medical equipment Stryker Corporation is opening a new shared services centre in Warsaw, which is expected to be fully operational by the third quarter of 2022. The company is creating about 300 jobs at its new facility and is looking for specialists in finance and procurement, as well as graduates interested in these areas. The processes in the Polish branch will include processing of supplier invoices, reporting, handling fixed assets as well as intra-group receivables and liabilities, handling basic data for commercial processes, internal controls, project management and process improvement.
The investment in the facility has been supported by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (Polska Agencja Inwestycji I Handlu, PAIH).
Stryker Corporation manufactures innovative medical products, including implants and surgical equipment. The company’s products are available in over 100 countries worldwide.
