Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Nestlé Hungária has announced 120 new jobs in its animal-food producing plant in Bük, Western Hungary. Together with the creation of the jobs, the company will offer a 3-year training programme for the all the company’s employees which will be partially supported by government founds. The Bük plant is already the centre of Nestlé's pet food production in Central Europe, but the current investment will create one of the Swiss company's largest pet food factories in Europe. Nestlé Hungária is the Hungarian subsidiary of the global Swiss company Nestlé has over 2,400 employees and operates three plants (in Szerencs, Diósgyőr and Bük) and has its headquarters in Budapest.
