Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 2 November 2021, Grant Thornton Greece, a leading expert in audit, tax and advisory services, announced the creation of 200 new jobs. Its headquarters are located in Athens, but also it has branches in Thessaloniki, Crete and Ioannina. According to the CEO Vassilis Kazas, after the company’s expansion of the Technology Intelligence & Performance department, they are expanding in fields of Assurance, Advisory, Tax, Outsourcing, Financial Services, Strategy & Investments, Energy, Transactional Advisory Services and Environmental, Social, Governance, Risk & Compliance departments. The recruited staff of the company will work in the new facilities in Athens and Thessaloniki.
