Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
IT consultancy company Avenga has announced that it will create about 700 new jobs at its offices across Poland. The company is looking for experienced IT specialists, especially in Java, DevOps and Automation Testing. The source reports that Avenga recruited 439 IT specialists across the country in 2020, while another 400 positions have been created since January 2021.
Avenga was founded in 2019; the company provides IT solutions, including solution engineering, customer experience, managed services and programming. Avenga operates in Europe, Asia and the USA, employing 2,500 employees. In Poland, the company has branches in Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw and Gdańsk.
Previous business expansion for Poland was announced in May 2020 (300 jobs created).
