Description

Volvo Cars is recruiting 200 people to work on its manufacturing site in Torslanda, located in the western part of Sweden.

The company is starting a new weekend shift due to the increased demand and is therefore in need of additional workforce. 

Volvo Cars is a Swedish manufacturer of cars and the largest Swedish company in terms of turnover. The majority owner of the company is the Chinese Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. In 2020 the company had 40,000 employees in Sweden and 96,194 employees worldwide. 

In 2020, the company cut down its workforce in Sweden by 550 employees.
