Description
The Latvian airline airBaltic plans to hire an additional 320 flight crew by the summer of 2022. The new positions are for 120 pilots and 200 flight attendants.
The CEO of the company, Martin Gauss, stated that: “We are pleased to see a growing demand for travel, and this year we have launched flights to various new destinations. Given the increase in vaccination coverage worldwide and the review of travel restrictions, we are ready to expand our flights again.â€
The company plans to mainly recruit former pilots who were made redundant due to the pandemic and graduates of the airBaltic Pilot Academy.
In addition to pilots, the airline also invites applications from experienced flight attendants and candidates with no previous experience in the aviation industry.
