European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American manufacturer of outdoor grills Weber-Stephen Products has announced that it will create 500 jobs at its new production facility in Zabrze. The factory, located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, is expected to be launched in early October 2021. The source reports that the company has already hired 130 workers at the site.
Weber-Stephen Products has been operating since 1893. The company produces charcoal, gas and electric outdoor grills with related accessories. The company operates in over 40 countries worldwide; the facility in Zabrze is the first company’s factory in Europe.
