European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The commercial court of Lille has just announced the judicial liquidation of Office Depot France, 963 jobs will be lost and part of the company will be taken over by the Alkor group. Alkor's takeover proposal was the worst in terms of jobs compared to the offer by Adexgroup and Adveo. Alkor is nevertheless offering 370 positions in sales, IT and support functions, with a two-year hiring priority within its group. The group was placed in receivership in February 2021.
