Description

Seita, the French tobacco manufacturer, has announced a new redundancy plan which aims to cut 127 jobs, including 98 at its Paris headquarters.

In Bergerac (Dordogne), SEITA plans to permanently close its applied genetics laboratory in the first quarter of 2022. where five people still work.

The information-consultation procedure began on 16 September 2021 and will end on 15 December 2021. The first departure will start just after.

Seita is a subsidiary of the Imperial Brands Group. A former restructuring has been recorded in the ERM database in 2016 with 326 job cuts.
