Takeda, a Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company, has announced its plan to invest €118 million in its production facility in Lessines. The plant is already one of the largest of the company but will now increase by approximately 100 employees.
The investments will be used specifically for the purification of a specific protein that is used in treatments of certain very rare diseases.
