Hidria, a manufacturer of products and systems for the automotive, air conditioning, heating and cooling industries as well as electric hand tools, announced the employment of 100 workers in a new high-tech digitised centre in Spodnja Idrija. Following the conclusion of long-term contracts with world car manufacturers, Hidria is expanding its production capacities. The company will build a development centre and production facility where rotors and stators for electric and hybrid vehicles will be manufactured. The investment, worth €40 million, will give employment to 100 high-skilled workers. The centre will start production in mid-2023.
