European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Primark, the Irish clothing retailer, has announced the opening of at least 13 new shops and the creation of 650 jobs in Spain. Three of the new shops will open by the end of 2021, and the rest during 2022.
Primark arrived in Spain five years ago and has already positioned itself as one of the country's leading clothing retailers. This announcement is part of its expansion plan – initially announced in February 2021 – in which the Spanish market will play an important role in the expansion of its commercial network.
