Swiss-owned Home Instead, which is Ireland’s biggest provider of home care services for the elderly, has announced the creation of 1,000 new jobs in rural and urban areas around the country.
The company currently employs 4,000 people and the new announcement will increase the workforce by 25%. The 1,000 new jobs are currently being advertised and are for care workers working with the elderly.
The company currently cares for almost 7,000 clients across the country, and the new roles will increase its capacity to care for another 2,000 ageing adults.
