Description
Leading California-based technology company Qorvo is to create 100 new positions for highly skilled engineers in Dublin and Cork. The jobs will be in the existing operation in Dublin and a new planned facility in Cork.
The research engineering positions are to be filled over the next two years. The jobs are to support Qorvo's global UWB product research and development.
The expansion is supported by IDA Ireland. Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, said: "This investment further enhances the reputation of the Irish semiconductor industry, adding to Ireland’s already strong reputation in microelectronics R&D."
In early 2020, Qorvo bought Irish semi-conductor company Decawave.
