The Hungary based airline Wizz Air Group has announced that it will hire 4,600 pilots worldwide by 2030. The business expansion will cover all 43 of the airline’s bases located in Europe and the Middle East. To exceed its pre-pandemic capacity this summer, the company has trained 150 pilots since January 2021, with another 300 hires set to take place by the end of the year. Additionally, Wizz Air is recruiting cabin crew members across its bases. The carriers revealed that it added dozens of new bases and in commenced over 300 new routes across its network in 2020-2021.

Headquartered in Hungary, Wizz Air operates flights from 49 countries, flying to 191 destinations and 800 routes.

In April 2020, the airline announced a restructuring programme affecting 1,000 jobs worldwide.
