Description
Germany-based discount retailer Lidl has announced plans to expand its business and create over 1,000 new jobs in its stores and logistics centres in 2021. Thanks to high sales, company's stores are growing across the country. This year, Lidl has opened thirteen of them, and by the end of the year, eleven more will be added. In addition to stores, Lidl is expanding its logistics facilities. At the beginning of July 2021, it opened a giant logistics centre in Buštěhrad near the city of Kladno. It is one of the company's largest warehouses in Europe, covering almost 60,000 square meters and creating up to 500 new jobs.
