Description

Polish steelworks company Hutmen, a subsidiary of Boryszew Capital Group, announced that it will cut 205 jobs throughout a collective dismissal programme at its site in Wrocław. As of July 2021, it is still unclear when the employment effect will take place. The restructuring programme is related to the Boryszew’s decision to liquidate the company. According to Boryszew, Hutmen will lose its market competitiveness in the near future due to the company's outdated technology and the high maintenance costs.

Hutmen was founded in 1918; currently, the company belong to the Polish chemicals group Boryszew Capital Group. Hutmen operates in the non-ferrous metal industry. The company employs 205 employees.
