Description

Truck manufacturer Ab Volvo plans to hire 300 employees at its manufacturing site in Tuve, near Gothenburg. The new blue-collar employees will be offered a fixed-term contract. 

According to Volvo, currently there is a high demand for trucks on the market. The new employees will be working on an additional shift which Volvo plans to start at its Tuve site.

Ab Volvo currently employs around 2,200 workers in Tuve. The company owns five truck manufacturing sites across Europe.
