Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The construction group Spie France, which specialises in public works, civil engineering and foundations, energy and development, as well as real estate and concessions, has announced the recruitment of 2,200 employees in France in 2021. Of these, 600 will be recruited on work-study contracts (lasting more than six months).
This subsidiary of the construction and public works group Spie Batignolles is looking for network and maintenance technicians, electricians, IT specialists, mechanics, heating engineers, draughtsmen, network fitters, site supervisors, business and telecoms & networks engineers. These numbers, which are up on previous years, confirm the growth in activities linked to the challenges of the energy transition and digital transformation.
With 400 locations throughout France, recruitment is planned in several regions. Among them, 214 permanent staff will be hired in Ile-de-France region, 195 in Occitanie, 174 in Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'Azur, 169 in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, 153 in Grand Est, 122 in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, 113 in Bretagne, 89 in Pays de la Loire, 74 in Normandie, 59 in Centre Val de Loire, 46 in Hauts-de-France, and 40 in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
