European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Monbus, a Spanish company dedicated mostly to bus transport of passengers, has announced the creation of almost 1,000 jobs to reach a workforce of almost 2,000 employees, thanks to several awards in Catalonia. One of the most important is the concession of the bus transport service from Barcelona airport to the city.
The services provided by the company are transport of passengers by road, providing regular transport services, discretionary services through the rental of buses and cars with and without driver. Monbus operates in eight Spanish regions, focusing its activity mainly in Galicia, Catalonia, Madrid, and the Basque Country.
